Loved by celebrities and supported by clinical research, Emu Oil is an essential addition to any skin care regimen. Vogue Magazine says that it is a “Beauty Phenomenon! Emu oil is a powerful moisturizer that penetrates deep into the skin. Studies done at Boston University have shown that Emu Oil may actually stimulate skin cell regeneration and help reduce wrinkles and sagging.” Emu Oil is a naturally powerful “transdermal carrier” which means that it penetrates your skin with great efficiency. It has natural anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, healing, moisturizing and non-comedogenic (will not clog pores) properties. This makes Emu Oil a valuable addition to our more powerful skin care products like TCA, Glycolic and Jessner’s peels since it is clinically shown to improve the rate of healing as well as the overall results of the peel. Emu Oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids, Omega-3, 6, and 9. The monounsaturated fatty acid, Oleic Acid, is the major fatty acid found in Emu Oil. Clinical research has shown that Emu Oil penetrates the skin even more effectively than Oleic Acid by itself. Oleic Acid is also known to serve as an anti-inflammatory. Additionally, Linolenic Acid, the second most abundant fatty acid in Emu Oil, has been shown to ease muscle and joint discomfort. Emu Oil helps brighten your complexion & moisturizes face and body. It plumps up fine lines to help smooth the appearance of lines while carrying antioxidants into the skin to reverse the signs of aging. It relieves the pain from burns & sunburn, revives tired muscles & stops joint pain of arthritis. Emu Oil can be used to soften callused feet & provide a surge of moisture to dry skin. It helps reduce swelling and reduces the appearance of stretch marks. It stimulates collagen and re-hydrates skin’s seven layers. Diminishes acne inflammation and relieves the discomfort of eczema and psoriasis. A perfect all around moisturizer!

Doesn’t clog pores? I think not… Used this product on my clean face three times. Woke up with two swollen, angry zits after the third night, and two more popped up later. I do not have acne prone skin. I won’t be using this on my face anymore, just rough spots on my body.

Works great, but broke out Thankfully I did not use this on my face. I used it on the rest of my body. It really improved the dryness of my skin, but I broke out a few days later. The bumps and scratching (although not that many or that bad) lasted for months. It sounds like a lot of people might have a slight allergy to this product. I would say, you should try it because it is really moisturizing, but use it on a part of your body that doesn’t show, for the first few weeks before trying it on your face.

Emu oil…the greatest I have been using Emu oil for almost 10 years. I use it in the morning and at night around my eyes. If I develop dry patches on my skin, I get out the Emu oil and apply it. I am 55 years old and have very few wrinkles, due in part, to Emu oil. It does not clog the pores, absorbs easily. I have recommended this product to many of my female friends over the years. I will use it til the day I die. Wonderful stuff!
