Maybelline Creates the Best Eyeshadow Formula Ever! At $6.95 this drugstore brand puts every high end eyeshadow offered at Sephora to shame. It gives you intense color that lasts until you wash it off without the crease problems you get when you use eyeshadow and primer. This cream eyeshadow works best with a smaller make up brush as you can’t spot correct your lids easily after you put it on. However, your eyeshadow looks perfect for as long as you want to wear it. I haven’t met anyone yet who uses this eyeshadow and doesn’t love it. The only draw back so far is that Maybelline hasn’t come out with enough colors! Bad to the Bronze is my favorite of the line, as it is an intense dark copper color that works great with my brown eyes and olive skin. It is a shade that works just as well in the office as it does in my evening hours. If Maybelline introduces a shimmering nude in this line, I will kick my pot of Stila’s best seller Kitten to the curb along with my Urban Decay Primer Potion. A girl can dream, right?

I love “Tough as Taupe” because it’s matte instead of ridiculously shiny/shimmery, and it’s a nice neutral color that I love to have on my lids for an easy everyday look. I can swipe it over my lids nice and quickly if I’m in a rush, I can build it up for some definition, or I can use it as a base and put some other browns over it for a fancier warmer look. It’s very nicely pigmented so a little goes a long way. I like to use a brush to apply it and I appreciate that I get some time to work with it and blend it out before it sets. When it sets, it stays put incredibly well, which says a lot since my lids are so oily and I can rarely wear shadows of any kind. Definitely a…
