Not matte Not matte. If you searched matte eyeshadow and this came up don’t be misled. There are specks of shimmer.

The colors are nice neutrals that go on smoothly and have a nice … The product packaging is bigger then it appears, so it exceeds the price in base on quantity. The colors are nice neutrals that go on smoothly and have a nice sparkle to them. The colors are build-able, so if you just want a hint of color to illuminate your eyes this is perfect, but you can darken it a bit more if you like. Not much difference between colors I’m not someone who wears much makeup, and I certainly don’t have much useful experience applying it. I prefer light, neutral shadows, but even so, this compact takes light and neutral to the extreme. These colors are so minimally different that you can’t build much definition without introducing other colors from a different set. I don’t feel like the shadow stands up all day either, whereas neutrals from other sets seem to have longer wear times.
