Just Right This product is just the right amount of “lipstick” andlip balm. As I’ve gotten older, my face needs a little morecolor–but I hate lip gloss or lipstick. Burt’s Bees isn’t slimylike lip gloss or glommy like lipstick–it’s just right AND addscolor in a subtle way. If I was Oprah, I’d have this producton my “favorite things” show. : )

Red Dahlia – similar color to Clinique’s Black Honey Almost Lipstick For years I purchased the somewhat pricey Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick. Love the neutral, no make-up look and the Black Honey works well with Clinique’s Mocha Pink Blush and neutral eye shadows. The Burt’s Bees Red Dahlia shade has a little more red, but it is much more moisturizing than Black Honey. Great for darker skin tones I prefer to wear stain and put gloss on top, but I tried the Red Dahlia shade and now keep one in my purse and one at home. What no one has mentioned so far is the depth of color. I am the color of a fairly deep tan and have pigmented lips and this color shows up beautifully on my lips. Most gloss stains are too purple, too red or too pale. This is perfect. And the price is right.
